We stayed at Apartamentos Santa Maria By Heart Of and had a wonderful experience. the location is perfect, right in the heart of Funchal's old city district. We were just a two-minute walk away from the teleferico do Monte and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and attractions like the mercado dinlabradores and Madeira bus terminal. the apartment itself was lovely, with modern furnishings and a beautiful terrace. The free wifi was a great bonus, and our host Alexandra was incredibly helpful, providing us with various recommendations for things to do in Madeira. Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 🌟.

The best aspects of our romantic escape were the excellent location and the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel is situated in the heart of the town, making it convenient for exploring and accessing amenities. We loved being able to walk to superb restaurants on the same street and the close proximity of the bus station, taxi rank, and cheap multi-storey car park. the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. They provided us with recommendations for restaurants and were always available to answer our questions.
